disappointing
i bought this because every other fan raves about this - but it ignores and rewrites some pretty vital cannon things. reads more like a wattpad fanfic that praises john than johns canon journal . really disappointing as a hardcore supernatural fan

However, the author included additional factoids about various myths and folklore that abruptly broke up the storyline, and were slightly difficult to get through. Although some readers may have enjoyed these extra tidbits of information such as Staking. Ash or oak most effective. Rom traditions favor hawthorn. and felt they added to the story and personal diary motif, I personally felt that they were hard to follow along with, and made me lose my place in the central plot of the story. All in all I believe this book was successfully w
